About K&K's

Here is the story behind our boutique.  My name is Kendyl Rogers and my daughter’s name is Kylie Rogers, hence K&K’s.  Growing up I loved clothes that were affordable, comfy, and cute.  I fell in love with small town boutiques.  I never saw myself starting a boutique.  I am an Enrolled Agent/Accountant, so I have always been leaning more towards that direction.  I always knew as a little girl I wanted to have a business and incorporate God, somehow.  Lately, God has been opening doors and giving me all kinds of ideas.

I remember when Kylie was about 8 or 9, and she started showing an interest of how she dressed.  She was very adamant about dressing a certain way, and I was not able to change it.  She has always been very artistic.  In 2023, I really noticed her love for fashion, so I started a little consigning boutique. She helped here and there.  I initially made this for her to see if it would blossom into something big.  Late 2024, Kylie has really shown an interest in the business and wants to help.  In the future, my hope is to show her how to sew and see where that takes us.

At the end of 2024, God allowed me to really get this boutique started.  I have many goals for this boutique.  My number one goal is to always listen to Him when He says go and do.  Like I wrote earlier, we started out with consigning.  As a mama of two, I got tired of either giving my clothes, that I loved dearly, to Goodwill or just getting rid of them.  I always wanted to make sure they were either getting sold or they went to a home where I knew they were going to be loved and used.  I finally realized that if I didn’t do it myself nothing was going to come along, so I decided to start selling on eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, etc.

I also wanted this boutique to be a place where other moms could bring their clothes and know their clothes would either be sold or given to a good home.  Right now, we consign with the Rhea Lana’s Department store every year, if we weren’t able to sell some of our inventory.  If something doesn’t get sold, it will go to a local foster family.  My goal is to open my own website for foster families, where they can login and get clothes for free.

K&K’s started growing at the end of 2024, since we started selling boutique style clothing for mamas and their babies.  My hope is that when you log onto K&K’s you find everything your mama heart desires.  Something cute and comfy and maybe a cute outfit for your baby.  We are currently selling only women’s clothes and children’s clothes.  I don’t for see us branching out, but God may steer us into another direction.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.  We hope this store blesses you like it does us.  My hope is to see this grow, so we can help other families in need and help mamas feel special.
